I
became quite interested in the jewelry industry at the age of fifteen, when
I was offered an apprenticeship at a local jewelry store. My interest continued
throughout high school where I attended classes in art and jewelry design.
Upon completing high school, I attended the Gemological
Institute of America in Santa Monica, California where I became a Graduate
Gemologist. After further study, I became a member of the International
Society of Appraisers. I later became employed as a Senior Designer and
Chief Gemologist in Stamford, Connecticut.
Upon my return to the Metro Detroit area, I
decided to open my own jewelry studio in downtown Berkley, Michigan, where
I design, create, sell, repair, appraise and restore jewelry pieces.
